1. Who we are

Vantx Engineering ("Vantx," "we," "us") provides managed performance engineering, observability, and fractional SRE services. This policy explains how we handle your data when you use our website (vantx.io) and services.

2. Data we collect

Information you provide

• Contact information — name, email, company name when you book a call, subscribe, or email us.
• Payment information — processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
• Technical context — stack details, architecture information you share during onboarding.

Information collected automatically

• Analytics — we use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use our site. GA4 collects anonymized usage data (pages visited, time on site, device type). We do not enable Google Signals or advertising features.
• Scheduling — Calendly processes scheduling data under their own privacy policy.
• Geolocation (country only) — we use Cloudflare's built-in country detection to show regional pricing information. No IP addresses are stored or transmitted to third parties for this purpose.

3. How we use your data

• To deliver the services you subscribe to.
• To communicate with you about your engagement.
• To send invoices and process payments via Stripe.
• To improve our website based on aggregated, anonymized analytics.

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising. We do not share your data with third parties except as necessary to deliver our services (Stripe for payments, Calendly for scheduling, Google Analytics for site analytics).

4. Client systems and data

During service delivery, we may access your monitoring systems, dashboards, test environments, and related infrastructure. All client system access is governed by the mutual NDA signed during onboarding. We do not retain client system data after an engagement ends unless explicitly agreed.

5. Data retention

• Account data — retained while your subscription is active, plus 90 days after cancellation for invoicing and support purposes.
• Analytics data — retained per Google Analytics default settings (14 months).
• Deliverables — reports, dashboards, and scripts we create are yours. We retain copies for 12 months after engagement ends.

6. Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing hello@vantx.io. We respond within 5 business days.

7. Cookies

Our site uses first-party cookies set by Google Analytics for anonymous usage tracking. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels. Calendly and Stripe set their own cookies when you interact with their embedded elements.

8. Security

We use HTTPS everywhere, access controls on all systems, and follow security best practices for a services company. All client data is handled under NDA.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated via email to active subscribers. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
